The Defender Tree Shelter is a high-performance twin-wall tube designed to give young trees superior protection and a strong start in harsh, high-pressure environments. Made from durable, UV-stabilised polypropylene, these shelters are ideal for use in forestry planting, biodiversity net gain schemes, farmland boundaries, estate planting, and reforestation projects.

Engineered for long-term performance (up to 10 years), the Defender Shelter protects saplings from rabbits, hares, and deer, as well as mechanical damage and herbicide drift. The rigid twin-wall design, internal diameter of 85mm, and flared rim prevent bark abrasion while encouraging upright growth. Integrated ventilation slots support airflow and reduce the risk of disease or damp build-up.

Each shelter is supplied with pre-fitted releasable ties and a laser-line slit for flexibility and easy installation. Simply pair with a square or round stake for quick deployment in the field. With multiple height options available, it’s suitable for a wide range of tree planting projects across the UK.
