Important Information About Living Green Screens
Living Green Screens are a natural, living product that changes with the seasons and growing conditions. Please note that the appearance of the screen you receive may vary slightly from the images shown on our website. Factors such as the time of year, recent pruning, and natural growth cycles will all influence how the plants look at the time of delivery.
Seasonal Variations
During winter and early spring, Living Green Screens may appear less dense or be without leaves, particularly for deciduous species. In contrast, during late spring and summer, you can expect fuller foliage and more vigorous growth. This is a normal part of the plant’s seasonal lifecycle.
On Arrival – What To Do
When your Living Green Screen arrives:
Unpack it immediately and keep it well-watered if you're not planting right away.
Plant it as soon as possible in its final position, making sure the root system is well covered and the screen is securely anchored.
Water thoroughly after planting and continue to water regularly, especially during the first few months and dry spells.
Add a slow-release planting fertiliser or root stimulant to the planting hole to support strong early establishment and healthy growth.
Ongoing Care Tips
Ensure regular watering, especially during dry periods.
Check supports and ties to keep the screen upright and secure.
Trim lightly to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth, depending on the species.
With proper care and planting, your Living Green Screen will establish quickly and thrive—offering you a beautiful, sustainable, and instant green boundary.
Delivery Information for Living Green Screens
Due to the size and nature of Living Green Screens, all orders are delivered on pallets via heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). Please read the following carefully to help ensure a smooth delivery:
Pallet Delivery: All Living Green Screens arrive securely wrapped on a pallet and will be delivered to the kerbside by an HGV.
Access Requirements: It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery site has ample space, flat access, and a hard-standing surface suitable for HGV offloading.
Residential Deliveries: For domestic addresses, tail-lift offloading will be attempted where possible. However, this cannot be guaranteed, and buyers may need to unload the pallet manually (“handballing”) or provide on-site assistance such as a forklift.
Screens Over 1.8 Metres: Please note that Living Green Screens taller than 1.8m cannot be offloaded using a tail-lift. Alternative unloading arrangements must be made.
Delivery Address: Ensure your delivery address can accommodate an HGV. Any required permissions or access arrangements should be arranged in advance (e.g., notifying property managers or neighbours).
