How to Assemble & Install the GT Thorn Guard
Tools Required: Gloves, pliers (optional), tie tool, hammer, eye protection recommended
Unpack & Prepare: Wear gloves and carefully flatten the guard from its shipped flat position, taking care not to injure yourself on spikes.
Shape the Guard: Roll the guard lengthwise into a cylindrical shape with spikes facing outward. Adjust and straighten any bent areas.

Fit to Tree:
For new saplings: Assemble and secure the guard before placing it over the tree.
For established trees: Wrap the guard around the trunk and secure the ends with 4-5 ties evenly spaced for a firm hold.
Install Rebar Stakes: Position 3 rebar stakes around the guard in a triangular formation, pushing them deep into the ground for stability.
Secure the Guard: Fasten the guard to each rebar stake with 3 ties per stake to ensure a solid and immovable fit.

Due to the GT Thorn Guard’s robust design and spiked structure, this product can only be shipped securely on a pallet to ensure safe handling and transportation. Individual or parcel delivery is not available for this item.

Pallet Delivery Details:

GT Thorn Guard orders are dispatched on secure pallets with protective wrapping to prevent transit damage and ensure safety during handling.

Delivery is kerbside only and made to a flat, hard-standing area accessible by a large vehicle.

A tail-lift offload is available where no forklift is present, but the ground must be level and stable for safe delivery.

Delivery drivers are not able to assist with moving goods beyond the drop-off point—please ensure suitable personnel and equipment are available on site.
