The Heritage Dual Purpose 50/50 Wildflower Seed Mix is designed for challenging sites where reduced maintenance and successful wildflower establishment are equally important. This mix contains 50% native wildflower seeds and 50% low-maintenance grasses, striking the perfect balance between visual impact and practicality.
Blending annuals for first-year colour with perennials for long-term habitat, this mix is particularly effective on higher fertility soils and areas with difficult access. By reducing the grass content from a typical 80/20 mix, wildflowers are given more space and opportunity to thrive, making this a standout option for sustainable, biodiversity-led planting schemes.
Typical wildflower species include Corncockle, Field Poppy, Cornflower, Teasel, Wild Marjoram, and Common Knapweed, supporting a wide range of pollinators and boosting visual appeal across open landscapes, road verges, parks, and farm margins.
All wildflower seed mixes are subject to seasonal availability and may include additional or substitute species depending on harvest.
