Originally developed for sports surfaces, Loksand Rootzone is now available for horticultural and landscaping applications. This sand and soil mix is reinforced with crimped polypropylene fibres, enhancing the surface quality and physical characteristics of grassed areas by reducing compaction and improving stability.

Formulation & How to Apply:
Loksand Rootzone is a blend of sand and soil, reinforced with crimped polypropylene fibres. The fibres are entwined with the sand during the mixing process, increasing the sand’s overall strength and resistance. This formulation provides a stable and free-draining substrate that supports healthy root development.

How to Apply:
Prepare the sub-base by ensuring it is properly compacted.
Spread Loksand Rootzone evenly over the prepared area to the desired depth.
Rake the surface to level and remove any debris.
Lay turf immediately after application to establish root contact.
Water thoroughly to settle the soil and promote root establishment.
