Cancellation Policy – Turf & Wildflower Matting Products
Please note that all turf and wildflower matting products are living, perishable items that are cut fresh to order. To maintain their quality and viability, these products must be laid within 24–48 hours of delivery.
Cancellations must be made as soon as possible after placing your order.
Orders can only be cancelled if the turf or matting has not yet been cut or prepared for dispatch.
Once cutting has begun and the goods are in transit, cancellation or refusal of delivery will result in the full order value being charged.
To avoid delays and ensure readiness on site, it is essential to confirm your preferred delivery date with our sales team at the time of ordering.
On-Site Storage & Handling Advice
If you are unable to lay turf or matting immediately upon delivery, please follow these essential care instructions to help preserve quality:
Unstack the pallet immediately on arrival to allow airflow between rolls or mats.
Do not water the turf or matting while rolled, as this can cause overheating and rot.
Store in a cool, shaded area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
In warm weather, lay the turf on the same day of delivery if possible, or within 24 hours.
In cooler conditions, it may be stored for up to 48 hours, but laying as soon as possible is strongly advised.
If delays are unavoidable, unroll the turf or matting in strips to allow it to breathe.
Delays in laying may result in deterioration, discolouration, or failure to establish, and this is not covered by guarantee.
