The Tubex Recycling Collection Service is a sustainable solution that helps forestry professionals, landscapers, and landowners responsibly dispose of used Tubex tree shelters. Available May to September, this recycling initiative ensures that expired shelters are collected and processed into new products—supporting circular economy goals and reducing plastic waste on planting sites.
Tree shelters that have fulfilled their protective purpose can quickly become environmental waste if not handled properly. This collection service from Tubex, in partnership with Green-tech, offers an eco-conscious, easy-to-use option to remove and recycle those used tubes.
Customers must collect used Tubex tubes into Tubex-branded dumpy sacks, with a minimum return volume of 400 tubes or one full sack. From there, you can either arrange a convenient collection from site or drop the sacks at Green-tech’s depot in North Yorkshire for onward recycling.
